At Brave Culture, we coach humans—not robots. That means we don’t do “all or nothing,” we don’t chase perfection, and we definitely don’t believe your worth is tied to your macros. We’re here to help you build a sustainable, intuitive, and hella realistic approach to fitness and health—one that actually fits your real life (yes, even the chaotic, messy, butt-cheek-sore parts).
Our mission is to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and supported—whether you're lifting heavy, bouncing a baby on your hip, or just trying to remember if you drank water today. We ditch the toxic pressure of comparison and instead focus on what actually works for you: movement you enjoy, food that fuels you, rest that restores you, and values that guide you.
Brave Culture was built by real people who’ve lived through trauma, burnout, grief, and glow-ups. We've done the hustle, hit rock bottom, and learned how to come home to ourselves—and we’re here to help you do the same. Fitness should feel like freedom, not punishment.
We’re not here to “fix” you. You’re not broken. We’re here to remind you how powerful, resilient, and wildly capable you already are—with a little guidance, a lot of compassion, and maybe a few sore glutes along the way.
Owner, CEO, president, COO, manager, coach, councillor, executive, boss, big shot, Queen. Totally humble leader Of Brave Culture. Wink wink.
I am a certified Health coach, personal trainer, Yoga instructor and group fitness instructor in the industry For over 15 years. I take a holistic approach and believe If it's going last long term it has to be true to you. There’s a difference between discipline and forcing yourself into living a way that isn’t authentic to you. I’ve done both and I continue to learn lessons, grow, shift and change. I’ve been 90 lbs heavier, completely disembodied and I’ve been an Alberta figure champion and still didn’t love myself. This journey to health is so much more than just the physical, and my goal/ purpose is to create a space and culture that embodies truth, and real connection to yourself and others. All while showing you how to improve your fitness, kick your butts, show you how to move well and help you discover what health and fitness means to you. Not what you think it should mean.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and over six years of experience as a personal trainer, Josée brings both deep expertise and genuine care to her role as Lead Trainer and Assistant Manager at Brave Culture.
Her coaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that fitness should add to your life—not take it over. She doesn’t believe in quick fixes, aesthetic pressures, or one-size-fits-all plans. Instead, Josée helps clients build sustainable, long-term habits that support their real lives, bodies, and goals.
Having experienced the pressures of perfection in the fitness industry herself, Josée coaches from a place of empathy, focusing on movement that feels good, strength that’s functional, and a mindset that prioritizes self-trust and balance.
Whether she’s guiding a new mom, a beginner with gym anxiety, or someone returning to fitness after injury or burnout, Josée leads with education, encouragement, and honest support. Her coaching goes beyond the workout—into mindset, motivation, and the belief that lasting health is built from the inside out.
